A welding is a process that joins materials, usually metals or thermoplastics. This is often done by melting the workpieces to form a pool of molten material (the weld pool) that cools to become a strong joint.
Laser micro welding is a process which results in the assembly of 2 or more parts small parts, size 100 micro-meter and above. For small parts - as well as for bigger ones - welding process repeatability and stability can only be achieved by systems that compensate optronics component (scanhead) deviation in time (drift), like VisioWeld.
